February 13...

Valentine’s day has always been an ordinary day for me. Never had I experienced going on a date, making it special. Even in my previous relationship, I never received any flowers on that day. Oh well, I never received any flowers from him ever even if I had to drop subtle hints that I like receiving flowers. Even forcing him to give me one didn’t work either… hehehe.. Anyway, going back to Vday… I know a lot of people make a big deal out of this event and I’m not one of them. I remember talking to an officemate just a few days before Vday. I told her that Vday is just an ordinary day for me & it has yet to be proven that it is indeed special. I remember my bf asked me if I was working on the 14th & I told him that I’ll be working in the afternoon. On the night of Feb 12, my boyfriend and I were talking on the phone & one of our topics was the upcoming Vday. I mentioned to him that there’s nothing special about that day & told him that I never received any flowers from my previous bf. All he said was, “Luoya sad sa akong uyab”. Hehe.. The next morning, Feb 13, I was at the office and I received a text message around 9:30am from my bf’s younger sister. She said that the flowers were so cute & it was from her brother. At first, she thought I was an accomplice but I told her I didn’t know anything about the flowers. I was happy for her & thought that it was sweet of my boyfriend to give flowers to his sister. Ok I admit. I felt a little jealous… hehehe.. A few minutes later, the phone rang & it was for me. The guard in the pantry told me to go there since he’s gonna give me something. So I got up & went out of the office. When I saw the guard, he was holding a bouquet of flowers & I was already grinning from ear to ear. He handed me the flowers & I read the note & it was from my bf.. hehehe.. So much for being jealous.. hehe… I went back to my station & got teary-eyed. My officemates saw the flowers & they were also happy for me. I immediately sent a chat message to my bf & thanked him for the flowers… And now Vday is no longer an ordinary day for me. Someone has already proven that it is special. Thank you, Tikboy for the beautiful flowers & for making me feel special on that day. I didn’t expect anything from you since you’re not here in the Philippines. Even if we’re so far away, you made an effort to search on a forum site on how to send flowers.. weeee… thanks for being so sweet… love you.. mwah… and for that, you got 1,000 pogi points… hehehe…
